The Queen Elizabeth is the youngest Queen in the Cunard fleet and was named by Her Majesty the Queen in 2010. The luxury liner has won many awards for her elegance and unique facilities, so here is a quick summary of what to expect on board.

The ship was built to an art deco vision and the stunning interior is reminiscent of Hollywood glamour. The ship features marble floors, glittering chandeliers and wood panelling which all add to the feeling of luxury on board.

The ship offers some of the best restaurants available at sea, luxurious lounges and sumptuous suites to enjoy, providing a spectacular cruise experience.

Dining in style

The restaurants on board are described as the finest at sea with The Grills dining room providing a luxurious yet relaxed eating experience. On a grander scale, try the Britannia restaurant which is like taking a step back into the luxury liners of the past, while for a more intimate setting the Verandah restaurant is the perfect choice.

On-board entertainment

While on board there is plenty to do to keep you entertained, from West-End style shows to live music, with performances taking place across a number of venues, including the Royal Court Theatre. There is also a games deck for those who prefer to take part in their entertainment.

From day through to night you can take part in as much entertainment as you choose to, from presentation events through to wine tastings, pub quizzes and even fencing lessons – it really is up to you how much you want to get involved with while on your holiday.

Elegant nights out

When travelling on the Queen Elizabeth be sure to pack your best finery to take part in the elegant nights out including watching the theatre show from a private box or visiting the Commodore Club for cocktails.

Relax in style

When you want to relax, make sure to enjoy everything The Royal Spa has to offer, or maybe take a turn on the promenade deck to build up an appetite ready for a civilised afternoon tea. If it’s raining or you want a quieter time, head for the library or just relax in the luxury of your own cabin.

As you can see, the Queen Elizabeth has much to offer the discerning traveller, from elegant balls to pub quizzes, there really is something for everyone. So if you are planning a trip on this ship, make sure to enjoy all of the facilities while on board.
