Southampton is Europe’s leading cruise port. It has 4 state-of-the-art cruise terminals and is used by 1.7 million cruise passengers annually. The City terminal is designed to accommodate larger ships and as such, is one of the busiest at the port. Major investment and upgrades were made to the terminal in 2014/15. The terminal is accessed via Dock Gate 10 and the ship-to-shore walkway makes boarding simple.
On arrival you drop off your luggage at a dedicated area outside the departure hall. Porters are available to assist you. Port staff will direct you to the City terminal departure lounge where there is plenty of comfortable seating and space to relax until you board your ship. Refreshments can be purchased from Ceanos Café and licensed bar. Complimentary magazines, plenty of seating and toilets (including disabled facilities) are provided. Please be advised that there is no ATM or WiFi at the terminal. After checking in you will go through security before boarding the ship.
The arrival hall at City Terminal has comfortable seating, toilets (including disabled facilities), vending machines for snacks and hot or cold drinks and complimentary magazines.
